CCTV Camera Systems

CCTV that
delivers usable footage.

We design and deliver CCTV camera systems that are clear, stable and securely managed. Expect IP cameras, PoE, recording (NVR/VMS), role‑based access and a documented handover—for homes, businesses, industrial sites and public buildings.

Evidence‑grade footage

Shot purpose, lighting, lens and scene tuning—so people, vehicles and events are actually identifiable.

Infrastructure‑level CCTV

PoE, topology, labeling and service access—no improvisation and no ‘adapter on the wall’.

Secure access

Roles, permissions and audit logic (platform‑dependent). Management without chaos or shared passwords.

Handover without question marks

CCTV for homes, businesses and public buildings

A camera system is only as good as its design. We build CCTV to be manageable, expandable and truly usable in real life—not just ‘installed’.

Homes & apartment buildings

Peace of mind without hassle. A CCTV system should bring certainty—not more worries—so we design it to be stable, clear and easy to use.

  • coverage of entrances, gates, garage and garden—without unnecessary blind spots
  • secure remote access for owners (without compromising account security)
  • PoE power and clean topology—minimum adapters and improvisation
  • night scenes and backlight handled in the design phase (not after installation)
  • ready to expand: more cameras, video intercom, smart add‑ons

What you get

Outcome: a system that works every day—and delivers usable footage when it matters, not a blurry ‘overview’.

Businesses, sites, warehouses & operations

CCTV is part of operational security. Poor design leads to outages, overloaded recording and expensive service. We build the system as infrastructure.

  • coverage designed by purpose: overview / recognition / identification
  • PoE, VLAN guidance and IT alignment (so the network doesn’t ‘hurt’ daily operations)
  • recording with retention by risk, right‑sized storage and role‑based access
  • integration with access control, intrusion alarm, gates, reception or security desk
  • service logic: labeling, port map, documentation and fast interventions

What you get

Outcome: oversight and evidence that makes sense—for security, HR, logistics and internal investigations.

Municipalities, schools & public buildings

Public facilities need traceability and defensible processes. We help set up CCTV so it’s manageable, secure and aligned with GDPR expectations.

  • coverage for entrances, corridors, perimeters, parking and shared areas
  • controlled access to footage (roles and permissions, not ‘one shared login’)
  • sensible retention settings and clear rules for viewing/exporting recordings
  • phased implementation without disrupting daily operation
  • ready for future systems: access control, fire safety, intruder alarm, building management

What you get

Outcome: a system you can operate years later—without dependence on one person and without access chaos.

Why our CCTV works when something happens

The difference is in the details: shot purpose, lighting, retention, access—and a clean handover. That’s what decides whether CCTV is a real helper—or just ‘something that records’.

What ‘looks fine’ on paper—but fails in real life

  • the view is wide, but lacks detail—during an incident ‘you can’t tell anything’
  • retention is too short: footage is gone before anyone needs it
  • access chaos (shared accounts, no roles, no export rules)
  • improvisation: adapters, wrong routes, no labeling, painful service

How we build CCTV

  • purpose first: overview / recognition / identification—then lens choice and placement
  • storage and retention sized to real bitrate (with headroom for expansion)
  • roles and permissions: who can view, who can export, what is logged
  • clean installation, labeling, port map and a handover built for long‑term operation

Tip for your enquiry

Tell us three things: what you want to monitor, what level of detail you need, and how long the footage should be kept.

CCTV as part of your low‑voltage & IT infrastructure

A camera isn’t a ‘stand‑alone world’. A reliable system depends on networking, power, access and documentation. That’s why we treat CCTV as a whole—aligned with cabling, Wi‑Fi, access control, alarms/fire systems and building operations.

The most common weak spot in CCTV systems

“We have cameras, but when something happens you can’t see anything.” Most often it’s the wrong shot purpose, a bad lens choice, poor lighting, undersized storage—or chaotic access to recordings.

Our standard

  • purpose and critical spots first—then camera types and hardware
  • PoE, network and recording sized to real bitrate
  • access rights and clear rules for handling footage
  • labels, port map and a long‑term handover

Typical scenarios (for quick orientation)

These aren’t ‘boxed’ packages. They help us quickly define scope, priorities and technical complexity for your project.

Typically 4–6 cameras

Family home

Entrance, gate, garage, garden. Emphasis on night scenes, backlight and simple, secure control for the owner.

  • PoE (minimum adapters), clean topology
  • secure remote access with proper account management
  • prepared for expansion (additional camera / video intercom)
Typically 6–12 cameras

HOA / apartment building

Entrances, corridors, garages, elevator lobbies, perimeter. Roles and clear rules for handling recordings are key.

  • roles (manager, board, service) with traceable access
  • retention and exports—clearly set and defensible
  • documentation for smooth handover of administration
Typically 8–32+ cameras

Business / site / operations

Gates, loading docks, warehouses, cash areas, perimeter. We design the IT alignment, access, alarm integration and service mode.

  • coverage designed by purpose (identification vs overview)
  • topology, PoE capacity and network segmentation guidance
  • fast incident lookup (roles, permissions, quick exports)

What actually changes the project price?

These are the factors we’ll ask about.

Shot purpose

Do you just need to see that someone is there (overview), or do you need to identify a face (identification)?

Lighting & scene

Is there backlight? Total darkness at night? We may need special WDR sensors and proper IR handling.

Retention (days)

How many days back do you need? 30 days in 4K can require serious storage capacity.

Access & network

Do we need new cabling? Do you need complex role management for multiple users?

What you get (technical deliverables)

CCTV is infrastructure. It must be documented, secured and serviceable. We hand it over so anyone can operate it—not just us.

Coverage & purpose design

  • definition: where you need overview, where recognition and where identification
  • placement and angles designed to avoid blind spots
  • camera type recommendations (turret/dome/bullet), IR/WDR and lens per environment

Network, PoE and recording infrastructure

  • PoE power, logical topology and alignment with rack/patch panel
  • NVR/VMS sized to scope: recording, user roles, secure remote access
  • storage sizing (retention, bitrate, headroom for expansion)

Installation, configuration & testing

  • clean installation, labeling, cable management and service accessibility
  • scene tuning (day/night), detection and notifications
  • real‑world verification (darkness, backlight, motion)

Documentation and a clean handover

  • port map, camera labels, locations, photo documentation and service notes
  • access rights and footage‑handling rules (who, when, why)
  • operator training + recommendations for long‑term operation

Is it worth doing properly?

The biggest cost isn’t installation—it’s inefficient operation. When an incident happens, you need proof now, not “maybe there’s something there”.

Image quality that holds up in practice

Resolution is just a number. In real life, shot purpose, lighting, lens and correct scene tuning decide everything. For critical spots, we verify the result so the footage stays usable at night and under stress.

Purpose beats pixels

4K alone won’t help if the field of view is wrong. We design each shot by purpose—overview, recognition or identification—and then choose lens and placement accordingly.

  • shot planning by purpose (not ‘number of cameras per meter’)
  • lens selection and height/angle to get the needed detail
  • verification in real conditions—day, night, motion

Lighting & scene tuning

Backlight, shadows and night scenes are where most systems fail. We handle IR/WDR and scene settings so the recording stays usable under stress.

  • IR/WDR selection based on the actual scene
  • day/night profiles and exposure tuning
  • testing for moving subjects and low light

Retention that makes sense

Too short is useless, too long increases risk and cost. We size storage to real bitrate and set retention to the use case and risk profile.

  • storage sizing by bitrate + retention days
  • headroom for future expansion
  • retention aligned with processes and GDPR expectations

Smart viewing without chaos

Remote access should be secure and predictable. We set up roles, permissions and export rules so footage handling is fast and defensible.

  • role‑based access (view/export/admin/service)
  • clear export rules and traceability (where supported)
  • secure remote access set up properly

System security & access

With CCTV it’s not just about the picture. It’s about who can access it, how actions are tracked and how the system is protected. We handle roles, network logic and service mode from the start.

Roles, permissions & auditability

In businesses and public buildings, it matters who can view and who can export footage. We configure roles, access logic and reduce misuse risk.

  • user roles (admin, security, management, external service)
  • logging of access and exports where the platform supports it
  • separation of responsibilities: manageable, but secure

Network security & operational stability

Cameras are network devices. We handle segmentation, PoE capacity, rack visibility and IT alignment so the system remains stable and doesn’t impact operations.

  • camera network separation recommendations (VLAN / segmentation) by scope
  • stable power and PoE logic (no ‘adapter on the wall’)
  • clean patching and labeling for fast service

Service, updates & lifecycle

The worst CCTV system is the one nobody maintains. We can provide a service mode: health checks, storage capacity checks, incident handling and clean expansion.

  • regular checks of camera health and recording
  • update and security hardening recommendations per project
  • expansion with additional cameras/integrations without chaos

Brands & technologies we use (project‑dependent)

Hikvision
Dahua
TP-Link VIGI
Axis Communications
Ubiquiti
Hanwha Vision

We choose brands and components to match your environment (night scenes, backlight, PoE, cable runs, user management) and the project requirements. The goal is stable operation and evidence‑grade footage.

CCTV & GDPR: a setup that stands up

CCTV must not only work technically—it has to be set up properly in terms of process. We’ll help you define scope, access, retention and handover to reduce risk and keep the system sustainable.

Scope & purpose

We help set what you monitor and why—so coverage is proportionate and defensible.

  • define the purpose for each area (property protection, safety, operations)
  • avoid unnecessary monitoring of public spaces and neighbors
  • document the legitimate interest and risk profile where applicable

Retention & access

Retention days and access rules must match your process. We set it up so it’s usable—and not a liability.

  • retention aligned with the use case and risk (not ‘forever’)
  • role‑based access and clear export rules
  • basic traceability of access/exports where supported

Signage & handover

Clear signage and a clean handover reduce risk and make the system sustainable for years.

  • recommended signage/information duty per setup
  • handover package: documentation, port map, rules, training
  • process guidance for incident handling and exports

Frequently asked questions

IP cameras or analogue (HD‑CVI/TVI/AHD)?

For most new installations, IP (PoE) is the right choice—scalability, remote management, integrations and clean infrastructure. Analogue can make sense if you must reuse legacy routes or have specific constraints. We recommend the best option based on the site, risks and budget.

How many cameras do I need and where should they go?

It depends on the purpose. Entrances and gates are usually first, then the perimeter and critical spots (cash area, warehouse, loading docks). The key is the required level of detail—so we design from real‑world scenes, not from ‘cameras per meter’.

What does ‘usable footage’ mean?

Usable footage matches the purpose: sometimes overview is enough, sometimes recognition—and at entrances, identification is often required. It’s determined by shot framing, lens choice, lighting and correct scene tuning—plus testing in real conditions.

How do you handle night scenes and backlight?

For critical areas we design around lighting from the start (height, angle, IR, WDR, lens). After installation we test the scene and fine‑tune settings so the footage stays usable in motion and in low light.

Do we need to address GDPR?

Yes—especially for businesses, apartment buildings and public facilities. We help set scope, purpose, signage, access to recordings and clear rules for handling footage so the system is operationally useful and defensible.

Do I have to register the CCTV system with the Czech DPA (ÚOOÚ)?

No—there is no general registration obligation under GDPR. What matters is the correct setup of purpose, scope and processes (information duty, access, retention).

How long is footage stored?

Retention is set by purpose, risk and environment. Too short is pointless; too long increases risk. We size storage to real bitrate and the project requirements.

Can CCTV be integrated with access control or an alarm system?

Yes—and it’s often the best move. Events from access control or an intruder alarm can be verified instantly on camera, speeding up incident handling and improving response.

Where do you operate?

Primarily in the Moravian‑Silesian Region (Ostrava and surrounding areas). For larger projects we can deliver across the Czech Republic by agreement.
