Inspections by building type

Inspections aligned with real operation

Each building has different risk, constraints and priorities. We adapt the procedure to be safe, traceable and practical.

Family houses & apartments

Initial inspection after a new installation / renovation, or an inspection for safe long-term operation. Ideal for handover, insurance, and peace of mind.

  • new wiring and handover
  • renovations and circuit extensions
  • preparation for technologies (PV, EV charger, etc.)

Apartment buildings & HOAs

Inspections of common areas, distribution and continuity. Clear conclusions for property management and a practical repair plan.

  • common distribution and boards
  • lighting and common areas
  • maintenance and remediation recommendations

Offices & commercial spaces

We minimize disruption to daily operations. Focus on safety, clarity and audit-ready outputs.

  • socket circuits and protection devices
  • operational constraints and scheduling
  • clear list of findings and priorities

Municipal & public buildings

Town halls, schools, cultural facilities—inspections with strong documentation, accountability and traceable procedure.

  • public buildings and institutions
  • strong emphasis on records and protocols
  • reasonable remediation plan and service logic

Companies & industrial sites

Inspections aligned with operational reality: safety, reliability and minimized downtime.

  • warehouses, production, technology rooms
  • coordination mode and schedule
  • prioritization of issues (critical vs planned)

Which type of inspection do you need?

We choose the right type based on your situation: new installation, periodic verification, or an extraordinary reason. We explain the differences and propose the best next steps.

Initial inspection

Typically after a new installation or a renovation. The goal is to confirm the installation is safe and ready for handover / use.

Typical use: Typical cases: commissioning, project handover, new switchboards and circuits.

Periodic inspection

Safety verification during operation and aging of the installation. Helps prevent faults, outages and unnecessary risks.

Typical use: Intervals are usually planned based on environment and operational risk.

Special / extraordinary inspection

When a change, damage or doubt about safety arises. Suitable after an incident, modifications, or a suspected fault.

Typical use: Typical reasons: failure, intervention in wiring, extraordinary event.

Technical scope

What we check and measure

An inspection is not “just a paper”. It is safety verification and practical operational assurance. We look at critical points and continuity, and translate results into a clear conclusion.

Visual inspection

  • condition of wiring, covers, accessibility, labeling
  • clarity of distribution boards / switchboards and circuit logic
  • obvious defects, risky spots, improvisations

Tests and measurements

  • verification of protective measures (based on installation type)
  • RCD function tests and coordination with protection devices
  • key electrical parameters required for safe operation

Findings and recommendations

  • categorization of findings by priority (critical vs planned)
  • recommended corrective steps and clarity improvements
  • outputs ready for audits, insurance and facility management

Tip: If you have drawings, schematics, or even photos of boards/switchboards, it speeds up scope confirmation and improves clarity of findings.

Deliverables

Outputs that stand up to audits and inspections.

You get documents and recommendations that are useful in practice— for facility management, audits and safe operation.

Inspection report

Clear conclusion, scope description, identified findings and recommended actions. A document you can rely on.

Measurement protocols

Measurements and tests in a format useful for technicians and facility managers—ready for archiving and audits.

Remediation plan & priorities

What must be fixed now and what can be planned. Reduce risk and chaos with a clear next-step plan.

Follow-up and timing

If you want, we can set reminders and follow-up checks so inspections don’t get missed and operation stays under control.

How the inspection works step by step

We keep the procedure safe, traceable and efficient. For operating sites, we adapt to your schedule and access regime.

Frequently asked questions

Do you provide both initial and periodic electrical inspections?

Yes. We provide initial, periodic and extraordinary inspections depending on the situation and building type. Deliverables include an inspection report, measurement protocols and a clear conclusion.

Do you inspect installations for companies, industrial sites, HOAs and public buildings?

Yes. We work in offices, retail spaces, warehouses and production halls, for HOAs and in public buildings. Scope is always set according to risk, environment and inspection purpose.

Is an installation inspection the same as portable appliance testing?

No—these are different services. Installation inspection covers fixed wiring and fixed electrical equipment. Appliance testing covers portable and plug-in devices. If you need both, we can set a combined scope that fits your site.

Can you perform the inspection without unnecessary downtime?

In most cases, yes. For offices and operating sites we agree a regime that minimizes impact. We clarify access, critical circuits and what must be switched off for safety in advance.

How often should periodic inspections be done and who sets the interval?

Intervals depend on building type, environment, operational load and risk level. If you are unsure, we recommend a suitable regime after reviewing the site and available documentation.

Will I receive a clear list of findings and what to fix first?

Yes. We classify findings by priority and impact. Besides the report you receive a recommended remediation approach to keep risks and budgets under control.

Can you also fix issues found during the inspection (repairs, switchboard modifications, labeling)?

Yes. If issues are found, we can follow up with repairs and modifications to minimize downtime and make the post-fix handover unambiguous.

Does the inspection include switchboards and distribution boards?

Yes. Switchboards and distribution boards are typically part of the installation scope. The exact scope is confirmed based on building type and inspection purpose.

Does it make sense to add thermography as outage prevention?

Often yes. Thermography under load can reveal overheating joints and components before they cause a fault or shutdown. It is a good preventive add-on especially for higher-load sites.

What do you need in advance for a quick inspection quote?

Building type, approximate scope (number of switchboards/distribution boards and main circuits), location, operational constraints and preferred date. If you have diagrams or photos of switchboards, pricing and preparation become much more accurate.
